Shabby-to-Office Chic: Bookshelf Storage Solutions & Tips

A year ago, I set out to make one corner in my home more inviting, more productive and simply put... I wanted a pretty space, just like this one in this photo:

So, I collected storage bins, searched Pinterest and other blogs and found the best of the best advice:
The most thorough blog post out there: "Analysis of a Well Styled Bookcase", Centsation Girl

okay, now for my reveal...
here's my space in my home:
What do you think? How did I do? I even updated my look with the ever so popular trend of "framing" on front of the bookshelf...These frames are available in my Etsy shop this week too!

I call them, "Springtime in Italy"
A pair of matching "floating" frames can be wall hung or
used to update your bookshelf display (seen in photo)!
Each frame is designed by hand, using multiple frames
to create a "see through" effect. Outer frames were
painted white and antiqued with minimal distressing.

Each frame measures:
14 W x 17 H
